On December 20th, we reached a key milestone in the development of our ABP project with the presentation of Milestone 1. This achievement marked a decisive step for the ABP project, moving from conceptualization to the creation of a functional prototype. It has been an exciting challenge and a major accomplishment for the entire team. In this blog, we want to share the progress made during Milestone 1, the lessons learned throughout the process, and how this achievement motivates us to tackle the challenges ahead.

Achievements in Milestone 1

When we started this ABP project, it all began as a set of abstract ideas and concepts. However, through the collective effort of the team, we have managed to transform those ideas into a functional prototype that represents a significant step toward our final goals. Below are the key achievements we have accomplished in this first milestone:

• Interface Design: We created intuitive, functional, and visually appealing interfaces to ensure a smooth user experience.
• API Development: We designed a robust and secure API that facilitates efficient communication between the front-end and back-end.
• Chatbot with OpenAI: We implemented an intelligent chatbot capable of adapting and learning, offering personalized responses to users.
• Front-End and Back-End Integration: We achieved seamless integration between the front-end and back-end, merging functionalities to ensure the system works as a unified entity.
• 3D Models: We integrated precise 3D models into the web application for interactive project visualization.
• User Management and Admin Panel: We incorporated a user management system and an admin panel to simplify internal control and enhance personalization.

The result of all this effort is a functional prototype that reflects the progress and potential of our project.

What to Expect in the Next Milestone

In this new milestone, we aim to push our project even further with key challenges such as developing a graphics engine from scratch, integrating the chatbot with the engine, and creating a statistics panel. These objectives bring us closer to consolidating a complete and innovative experience.

• Developing a Graphics Engine from Scratch: We will build a completely new graphics engine that allows for more advanced and customized visual representation of the project elements.
• Connecting the Chatbot with the Engine: We will integrate the chatbot with the graphics engine to enable dynamic and real-time visual interactions.
