Our Project

logo-iverico

IVERICO is a commitment to the environment and society. Our digital platform is designed for those who wish to experience tourism in a unique, responsible way, respecting and valuing Spain’s unique biodiversity.

Through our web service, users can discover, share, and interact with sightings of endemic species, as well as access valuable information about local fauna and flora.

IVERICO aims to inspire people to appreciate and protect our natural environment, promoting tourism that preserves rather than destroys.

Why was our project born?

Mass Tourism

Tourist overcrowding in urban areas damages the social and ecological fabric, while rural areas, rich in natural beauty, remain neglected. This imbalance harms the environment and diverts opportunities for development toward sustainable tourism in natural spaces.

Lack of Knowledge

The rich biodiversity of our country is largely unknown to most people, making it difficult to recognize and appreciate the species that inhabit our unique ecosystems.

Difficulty in Monitoring

The lack of accessible tools to monitor endemic species complicates their protection and conservation, limiting efforts to preserve their natural habitat.

How do we solve this?

Mapa de España

3D Sightings Map

Our platform offers a visual representation of Spain’s map, highlighting key locations where species and their natural habitats can be observed. This user-friendly and accessible interface allows individuals to explore these points of interest interactively, promoting a direct and educational approach to biodiversity.

Sistema de medallas

Badge System

To encourage ecotourism in rural areas, we have created a badge system that rewards users for their achievements in sustainable visits. By completing specific goals, such as exploring protected areas, users earn virtual badges, making their experience more rewarding and committed to the environment.

Información que da la aplicación

Useful Information

Each species on our platform comes with a detailed description, including its habitat, characteristics, and conservation status, along with an interactive 3D model. This visualization allows users to deeply appreciate the natural richness of each species, promoting a visually engaging and informative learning experience about Spain’s biodiversity.
